GRAVINA THE MURGE PUGLIA

The ravine is a typical karst Murgia. The ravines are deep incisions erosive even more than 100 meters, very similar to the Canyon, carved by rainwater into the limestone rock. Its walls, very sloping and vertical in some cases, may be distant from each other in a few tens of meters to over 200 meters.

They are typical of the Murge, in a large surface area. They can be found ephemeral streams that become tumultuous during heavy rainfall.
